Artemis Mourat at Ball State University in the Art Museum Ballroom Muncie, IN Saturday, September 27th-Turkish Oriental AND Turkish Rromany (Gypsy) Part 1 Combinations to the fast karsilama and Rromany 9/8 and some slow material which is appropriate for both Oriental or Rromany dance. If time permits, I teach ciftetelli as well. I teach the material as it would be danced in both styles whenever appropriate (Oriental and Rromany). It is a highly theatricalized and visually appealing art form.
