Carenza's Caravan Carenza has been studying Middle Eastern Dance and its history since 2000 through the SCA, her teacher Zweena bint Asya and through several different instructors from across the US to increase her knowledge of this dance and enhance her teaching technique. *Click here for Carenza's Dance Resume* Carenza bint Asya created a dance troupe upon her return to Muncie, IN in June of 2004. She invited her students to perform dances they learned in class at different events throughout Muncie and the surrounding areas. It gave them and the public a chance to experience this dance. From these students, she has met some remarkable women, Dunya Alamira, Liz, and Ja'Niesa who share her love and respect for this dance. They have joined Carenza in promoting the beauty and the skill needed for this dance. Together, they formed Muncie's one and only professional belly dance troupe: Carenza's Caravan June of 2004 through March of 2008.
